We are a fellowship who meet to worship Jesus and to serve the local community
The Church is now open for our Sunday Morning 10:30am services.
The Church Building will be opened on a Sunday morning to welcome worshippers from 10:10am onwards. We have rearranged the chairs to give safe, socially-distanced seating, and put a range of other actions into place to ensure that everyone is safe. This includes a one-way system; you enter through the front entrance on Chandos Street and leave through the middle doors into Guy Place. You will have to wear a face mask throughout the time you are in the building and use the hand sanitiser, that is available by the doors, when you enter and leave. We are required, by law, to take note of who attends, for Track and Trace purposes.
In line with the guidance from both the Baptist Union and the Government, although the music group will continue to lead worship in song, at present it is recommended that the congregation do not sing. We will continue to monitor this guidance, as we look forward to a time when we can all join together and praise the Lord in song.
We encourage you to join us and be re-invigorated by the fellowship of Christian brothers and sisters coming together for worship. As the author of the letter to the Hebrews wrote in Chapter 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
