Revd Dr Ernest Lucas has an MA in Chemistry from Oxford University and a PhD from the University of Kent. He did his post-doctorial work in biochemistry at the University of North Carolina and Oxford University before studying theology at Oxford. After he ordained as a Baptist Minister, he served in Durham City and Liverpool. He was Associate Director of the Institute for Contemporary Christainity before moving to Bristol Baptist College where he was Vice Principal and Tutor in Biblical Studies before retiring in 2012.

Anne Le Tissier a freelance writer and speaker, whose work aims to teach, encourage and equip Christian discipleship as well as engage with those on the fringes or even hostile to faith. She has also written The Heart of the Temple, Prepared for Spiritual Battle and Immanuel, God with Us and contributes regularly to Woman Alive.

Saturday 21st April 2018 - A very entertaining evening with Gareth doing two sets with a ploughmans supper. A singer – songwriter in a folk style, Gareth has appeared on television and radio with his story telling compositions. Winner of the Sony Radio Award in 2009, he has also had commissions from the likes of Traidcraft and The People’s Kitchen. He has recently issued his eighth solo album “The Beauty & The Trouble”

Saturday 27th January 2018 - Speaker was Gary Matthews, who is known to many as he was the church caretaker before going on to other Christian work. He has lead an interesting and inspiring life as the theme of his talk, A Treasure out of Darkness, shows.  He is currently leading some very interesting projects in Leamington, to bring the gospel to a wider audience.
